Quality Inn Himdev - Shimla

Located quite away from the city center, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat in a black dark area with stunning views of the surroundings. the spacious rooms are equipped with comfortable furniture, including sofas and armchairs. the staff is extremely courteous, going above and beyond to cater to the guests' needs. the restaurant serves a variety of delicious local dishes, and the breakfast can be customized to your liking.

The hot water supply is limited to specific hours, which can be inconvenient for some guests.

It is in front of the airport. A kitchen was ok for us...

The room was equipped with a bathtub. Indian delight restaurant, where you can eat, is within short walking distance to the hotel;))

The hotel had spacious and well-designed rooms, providing a comfortable stay. The staff were accommodating and supportive throughout my visit. The food served at the hotel was of the highest quality, with some of the best Indian dishes I have ever tasted. I highly recommend trying the delicious Dal Makhani. the hotel's cleanliness standards surpassed those of other hotels in the same price range.

The room was comfortable and to a good standard. The staff responded promptly to our requests such as finding us a heater straight away.

Rooms don't get direct sunlight at this time of the year. And one evening there was a loud disco beneath our room which was very noisy. Management did, however, try to restrict the noise but it was still loud at times.

the hotel had a spacious design and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Indian dishes served in the hotel's restaurant were absolutely delicious. The cleanliness was slightly better than other hotels in this price range. However, these factors were not enough to make up for the overall poor quality of the room.

The toilet flush was also not working properly. We were extremely shocked and disgusted when we saw the condition of the room.

very accomodating staff, nothing was too much trouble even to the point of finding us an ancient but useable electric heater as the rooms were a little chilly in the evenings and mornings. It is not 4 star by western standards but for a hill station hotel it was very good and the restaurant was excellent, especially at breakfast when they cooked fresh omelettes or scrambled egg with lashings of hot buttered toast.

Its just like all the quality inns. The construction is basic and they serve the purpose. Good priced food at the hotel and the staff were friendly. They answered all our calls and acted upon our requests pretty quickly. Btw theres only wifi in the main lobby

Location, location, location.. It is pretty far away from Mall Road which is the main road with stores and places to eat. If you stay here you can either take a 5 Rupee Bus or a 200-250 Rupee taxi each way. You are pretty much stranded at night and the only alternative is to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is pretty well priced and we were amazed at how good it was.

Great view from the room and the hotel is located in a serene location with fresh air. the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. the food was good and a variety of dishes were available at the restaurant.

The Hotel is well designed and spacious. The Staff are very accommodating and supportive. The food is one of the best cooked Indian dishes I have ever tasted. The Dal Makhani is a must for every guest to taste! The standard of cleanliness is slightly better than other hotels in this price bracket. Overall stay was very good.

The standard of cleanliness needs to be improved and the Hotel will then be on par with more pricey hotels. I have shared my suggestions with the Manager.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The hotel provided excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location, on the very edge of town, offered a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the valley. The service provided by the friendly and helpful staff was top-notch, and the basic amenities in the spacious and comfortable rooms were well-maintained. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast offered by this hotel.

The hotel provided a satisfactory experience overall.
